Instructions for authors for preparation of research articles
· The journal will consider contributions focusing on molecular and cellular aspects of medical science and related subjects.
The author should pay 500 Egyptian pounds on submission for article processing (Not Refundable if the article is rejected or withdrawn).
The publication fees are 750 Egyptian pounds and should be paid after the reviewing acceptance.
The editorial process
· Manuscripts received are acknowledged immediately. Once a paper has been evaluated, the authors will be notified of the editorial decision (in general within 2 weeks after submission).
When your paper is rejected?
1. Dual publication will lead to automatic rejection and may prejudice acceptance of future submissions.
2. Editorial board might reject papers which lack originality, poorly designed or has no clear message.
The copyrights of the article will be to the journal and the university after the article publication and the author do not have the rights to republish it again.
The title page
· The title page should include:
1. A title as short as possible (of not more than 100 letters)
2. Details of all authors including name and address of the institutions
3. Name and address of the author to whom the proofs and correspondence should be sent (corresponding author).
· Abstract: A short self-explanatory structured (outlining the background, aim, methods, results and conclusion) abstract of 200 words should be submitted on a separate page followed by a brief listing of carefully selected MeSH key words (5-8).
· Tables: Tables must be typed on separate pages (typed double-spaced) and should follow the reference list. All tables must be numbered consecutively, and each must have a brief heading (in Latin numbers) describing its contents. Any footnotes to
tables should be indicated by superscript characters. Tables must be referred to in the main text in order. All tables must be simple and not duplicate information given in the text.
· Illustrations: Three copies of all figures or photographs should be included with the submitted manuscript. Figures must be as simple as possible, 2D, black and white with clear background. Figure number, name of senior author and an arrow
indicating (TOP) should be typed on a gummed label and affixed to the back of each illustration. All illustrations (figures) must be numbered as cited in the text in consecutive numerical order, in Arabic numbers. Photographs must be high-contrast,
glossy black and white (when colors are unnecessary) prints and mounted with preferred size between10X13 And13X18 cm.
· Legends: Capitations for the figures must be typed; double- spaced and must not appear on the figures.
· References: List references, double-spaced in consecutive numerical order of citation in the manuscript, with APA style (American Psychology Association). Unpublished data will not be accepted as references.
